Universally hardness and hardness measurements are based on the physical properties called indentation force deflection, by determining the relationship between the ratio of the test piece thickness required to be compressed and the circular turret force used.
When the tester is applied to the sample, the circular plenometer is simultaneously accepted from the sensor and records the degree of indentation. In order to compare the test results, the test piece must be the same size and thickness.
