The Cornell tester is mainly used to test and evaluate the spring mattress. There are a variety of ways to test springs (including InnersPrings and BoxSprings). The elements of the main detection include hardness, hardness retention, durability, impact on impact, etc.

The Cornell Tester is mainly used to test the long-term ability of mattress to resist persistence cycle. The instrument includes a double hemispherical pressure that can be manually adjusted axial length. The load-bearing sensor on a presshammer can measure the applied force applied to the mattress.

The axis of the pressure hammer is connected to the adjustable eccentric transmission and a variable electric motor drive by the highest speed up to 160 times per minute.

When the test is tested, the mattress is placed below the pressure hammer. Adjust the eccentric transmission and the position of the shaft to set the force applied at the highest point and the lowest point (the lowest point maximum 1025 N). The position sensor on the instrument can automatically measure the position of the pressure hammer.
The eccentric transmission is then slowly rotating, lifting and pressing the pressure hammer. At the same time, the data of the pressure and position will be recorded. The hardness of the mattress will be measured from the pressure reading derived from 75 mm to 100 mm.
During the test, you can set 7 different test cycles. They are 200, 6000, 12500, 25,000, 50000, 75000, and 100,000 cycles, and is completed in 160 times per minute. Seven test cycles will spend nearly 10.5 hours a time, but the effect is very good because it is a 10-year condition for simulating mattresses.
At the end of each test, the test unit will be compressed to the mattress surface at a 22 Newtons. In order to compare the contrast of the rebound force and the test end after the test, the bounce is compared, and the percentage is calculated.
The supporting software will prompt the value obtained by different stage sensors during the test, and generate a complete test report and print. The value obtained by finding the number of test cycles that need to be understood during the report.
