Introduction to the use of fat analyzer and sample test

Test method:

The fat analyzer mainly has the following fat extraction methods: Soxhlet standard extraction, Soxhlet hot extraction, hot extraction, continuous flow, and different extraction methods can be selected according to the different requirements of users.

1. Soxhlet standard: work in full accordance with Soxhlet extraction method;
2. Soxhlet thermal extraction: on the basis of Soxhlet standard extraction, double heating is used. In addition to heating the extraction cup, it also heats the solvent in the extraction chamber to improve the extraction efficiency;
3. Thermal extraction: refers to the use of dual heating mode to keep the sample in a hot solvent;
4. Continuous flow: means that the solenoid valve is always open, and the condensed solvent flows directly into the heating cup through the extraction chamber.
Test steps:
1. Install the fat analyzer and connect the pipeline.
2. According to the experimental requirements, weigh the sample m, and weigh the dry solvent cup mass m0; put the sample in the filter paper cartridge equipped with the instrument, and then put the filter paper cartridge into the sample holder and place it in the extraction chamber.
3. Measure the proper volume of solvent into the extraction chamber with a graduated cylinder, and place the solvent cup on the heating plate.
4. Turn on the condensed water and turn on the instrument. Set the extraction temperature, extraction time, and pre-drying time. After setting the extraction cycle time in the system settings, start the test. During the test, the solvent in the solvent cup is heated by the heating plate, evaporates and condenses in the condenser, and flows back to the extraction chamber. After the set extraction cycle time is reached, the solenoid valve is opened, and the solvent in the extraction chamber flows into the solvent cup to form an extraction cycle.
5. After the experiment, the lifting device is lowered, the solvent cup is removed, dried in a drying box, and placed in a desiccator to cool to room temperature, and the solvent cup containing crude fat is weighed m1.
6. Put a suitable container on the heating plate, open the solenoid valve corresponding to the number, and recover the solvent.
7. Calculate the fat content (calculate by yourself or enter the instrument to calculate)
